5 ways Goat Milk Soap will benefit your Skin!

Sugar Plum Goat Milk Soap

Are you not looking forward to the colder winter months and thinking of your dry itchy skin?

Like, folding laundry and the socks-sticking-to-the-back-of-your-hands dry skin.

I know how that feels. For years I had that problem.

Until over 8 years ago when I started making my own soap.

And not just any soap.. It was soap made with milk from our own goats!

I know it seems weird that you can take a pot of oils, mix in some milk & lye, and out pops something that can not only clean your skin, but do it so gently that it also moisturizes it too.

How can goat milk soap help your skin:

  1. It gently cleanses by deep cleaning and removing dead skin cells, but does it gently with no harsh chemicals or surfactants like SLS.

You can feel confident that my unscented and essential oil soaps are the safest for your skin because I use no artificial scents, and only natural or zero coloring in them.

The fragrance oil soaps are just that, they contain fragrance and most times, colors. Although I try to stick with natural colorants, some customers just want yummy-smelling pretty soap that is still awesome for their skin!

I have not had anyone say they can’t use any of my soaps. So even those with sensitive skin still use and love the colors and fragrance oil soaps.

  2. Full of Vitamins for anti-aging! Vitamin A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, & E. Studies have shown vitamin A in lotions helps reduce fine lines and early signs of aging.

    Man, who doesn’t want that!!??

People are shocked that I am 48. Some customers say I look like I’m in my 20’s. LOL, I find that a stretch, I don’t get carded buying alcohol ;)

Maybe it’s the soap..? Maybe it’s genetics..? I’m going with the soap.

  3. Can help soothe psoriasis, eczema, and even acne. It’s loaded with fatty acids and lipids that help calm irritated skin & reduce inflammation.

So many customers say it is like a miracle on their skin.

My sister included. She has severe psoriasis and she says my soap is the only soap that doesn’t make her skin feel like it’s on FIRE when she takes a shower.

To me, that’s pretty amazing! And not to mention, she uses ALL my soaps. Even the ones that are made with fragrance oils and colors!

  4. Balances skins PH. Goat milk has a PH that’s close to the PH of your own skin, so it doesn’t strip your skin of the protective healthy skin barrier.

Maybe that’s too scientific, but it just all comes together to make a perfect nourishing soap.

  5. Nourishes & helps elasticity All those vitamins listed above help nourish your skin.

"Commercial" soaps remove some of the good-stuff, like glycerin, to make other products, like lotion, leaving the bar more like a detergent than soap!

Since nothing is removed from handmade soap it actually hydrates your skin. Weird that something that washes germs and dirt off your hands and body can moisturize too.

Besides all these benefits, another bonus is, you can see where your soap is made and even the goats that help produce it!

Now, if I could just get them to help stir the colors instead of screaming at me they want more food LOL!
